When writting and preforming all of my science/biology labs I have to very meticulous when describing my procedures and variables. The meticulous details are very important when writting the lab because it describes what I'm doing to someone else and it also is a safety hasard when working in the lab.
In books and many movies the author and the directors must include very meticulous details to get the point across. If they are not meticulous, the reader/viewer could get lost in the movie/book and not understand what is going on. Having meticulous details help the reader/viewer to follow along.
